MARKETING INTERN (BOSTON– HYBRID)    THE IMAGINE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM    “Imagine the possibilities of your future”    The Imagine Internship Program at Cornerstone Research is a six-week experience that takes place during the summer between your junior and senior years of college/university. We have developed a comprehensive program to introduce you to different corporate functions and the culture of Cornerstone Research.     This program intends to cultivate a broader talent pipeline at the firm, by granting opportunities to students who bring a diverse perspective to the firm as a result of their adaptability, cultural fluency, resilience, and life experiences, while fostering their professional growth and skill set.    Our goal is to create accessible and equitable learning pathways to help you have exposure to a professional career path, facilitate the identification and understanding of your unique talents, professional skills, and abilities, while helping you to foster professional connections and impactful mentorship relationships with the aim of cultivating access for future career opportunities.    It is not required for you to be deeply familiar with the functions of your potential role, as our Summer Internship program will guide you through learning about your assigned role and department.    HOW YOU’LL HELP OUR TEAM SUCCEED     Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):  - Shadowing, executing, and coordinating key marketing projects to learn and understand internal and external processes - Conducting research on client and competitor websites, providing improvement recommendations, and identifying promotion opportunities for the firm and individuals - Social media monitoring and engagement for firm initiatives - Conducting content review for focus tagging to categorize and organize content based on specific themes or topics - Collecting and organizing data for marketing reports - Providing various administrative support to the Marketing team, including:  - Digitize and organize historical content  - Enter data into various firm tools and databases  - Audit websites to identify areas of improvement in Marketing content  - Other tasks as assigned    QUALIFICATIONS    If the Imagine Internship Program sounds exciting to you, we encourage you to apply. Magazine has recognized Cornerstone Research three times as a Best Workplace for its outstanding employee engagement, collaborative culture, and professional growth opportunities.   You’ll Love It Here If You - Embrace learning and continuous improvement - Set and strive for a high bar of excellence - Believe that teamwork leads to success: ask us what it means to be #onefirmfirm! - Take pride in always doing your best work, even if it’s harder or takes longer - Are passionate about what you do   How You’ll Help Our Team Succeed - Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operations of the network, including critical servers, WAN/LAN/WLAN, internet, and cloud connectivity - Manage and monitor Palo Alto Firewalls, Global Protect VPN, and associated security services - Administer Cisco routers, switches, firewall, and wireless infrastructure, as well as application load balancers and SD-WAN appliances - Build, deploy, and administer Linux-based servers - Administer VMWare Hyperconverged infrastructure, including VM replication and data protection systems - Assist with developing, implementing, and supporting Network Access Control policies for user and device authorization utilizing Cisco Identity Services Engine - Strategize and execute networking projects, including the deployment of new infrastructure and equipment updates in alignment with hardware/software lifecycles - Assist with planning, design, and implementation of network infrastructure within cloud and data center environments - Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including performance degradation, network and circuit outages, and hardware failures - Participates in an on-call rotation, responding to network outages 24/7           What You’ll Need to Be Successful - 10+ years of experience working in a similar role designing and implementing complex network solutions - The desire to take initiative and actively contribute to the team and the firm - The ability to communicate effectively and professionally - Strong business acumen and the ability to learn the firm’s financial and operational functions - The mindset to provide superior service - Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification or related experience - In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, QoS) - In-depth cloud networking platforms (such as AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware) - Advanced knowledge in network hardware and software, firewall technologies, load balancers, and other network infrastructure components. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex situations and provide effective solutions - Proficiency in Linux operating system, scripting and command line utilities - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders - Professional IT related certificate required - Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated equivalent combination education, training, and experience   Who We Are Cornerstone Research provides economic and financial analysis and expert testimony in all phases of commercial litigation and regulatory proceedings.   We work with a broad network of testifying experts, including leaders from academia and industry, who are recognized for their depth of knowledge, accomplishments, and research.
